Pharmacovigilance
Pharmacovigilance is a discipline which involves detection, collection, recording, assessment and understanding of adverse events, lack of efficacy and drug interactions, in order to determine the cause, frequency and severity to implement preventive measures to ensure the safety, efficacy and rational use of medicines.
Pharmacovigilance can quickly identify any new risks that may arise with the massive use of a drug and allows take appropriate measures to minimize dangers. It also helps to increase and update the available information about drugs on the market.
Benares maintaining its quality commitment with patients and the community seeks to promote the proper use of pharmacovigilance as a measure of control and prevention for drug use.
